HP is a major personal computer manufacturer that makes ink, fax machines, calculators, printers, scanners, gaming systems, and some other computer hardware devices.

In case you own the HP printer, computer, scanner, digital camera, computer or any other device then you will require the HP drivers. Updating the HP devices is quite straightforward though there are two methods, depending whether the driver is for printer or for a standard device. The standard device driver update would be done by simply using the Device Manager that could be found in Control panel. Just open up the Device Manager and locate HP device in list then right click on it. Click Driver tab and then click on Update Driver. The HP printer drivers could be updated simply by using Printer icons that are at the Control Panel. It would lead to the screen where HP needs to be selected from list and later select HP printer model in resulting list before you click OK tab.

The HP Drivers and Support section of HP site offers with automatic HP product detection tools which you can use for detecting any installed products automatically. It would involve installation and downloading small program on the system. Once the program is installed then one would be required to follow prompts on the site in order to detect the device and then locate best suitable drivers.
